and Stortford Divers 'Partnership'
The aim of the partnership is to
keep local divers diving and to attract
new divers by offering a weekly pool
night at Grange Paddocks pool followed
by a 'club' evening at Bishops Stortford
Cricket Club after the pool sessions.
The pool will be open for any certified
diver who wants to come along and
try out new kit or who just want
to refresh their in water dive skills
before a dive trip etc. There will
also be a swimming lane free for
those who fancy a splash each week.
To use the pool there will be a
fee of just £1 per diver/swimmer
each time you attend (membership
to Stortford Divers required).
Some of you have been asking us
about having a club night each week
to socialise and meet other divers.
Well on top of the regular quiz nights
etc that you are all aware of we
can now offer you membership to Stortford
Divers and BSAC. The membership fee
for Stortford Divers is £50
per year and £43 per year for
the BSAC membership.
Stortford Divers have kindly offered
2DiVE4's customers a FREE BSAC certification
when joining the club. This means
that you will receive an equivalent
BSAC certification card for whatever
level diver you are (up to Divemaster)
on the PADI 'ladder'. Membership
also gives you a list of other benefits
including:
- Free membership to the sports club and clubhouse.
- Access to all social events
- Access to the swimming pool for swimming, pre season warm ups, kit testing etc
- Free crossover including training to attain the nearest BSAC qualification
- Attendance to lectures for Sports, Dive Leader and Advanced.
- Inclusion in the Stortford Divers diving programme.
- Very competitive advanced training including instructor training
- Access to club diving equipment inc oxygen, basic kit, lifting bags etc
- 22 yrs of local knowledge in the diving community.
- Membership of BSAC including technical advice, access to expeditions, technical diving, 53 years of knowledge and information collection
- Free third party liability insurance (worth £45 per year)
- Free CLUB magazine and Dive Magazine as part of BSAC membership (normal price £3.70 per issue)
Not bad for just £93 per year!
