This course provides training and experience
required to competently utilize air for
dives up to 55m that requires staged
decompression, utilizing Nitrox mixtures
or oxygen during decompression. The objective
of this course is to train divers in
the proper techniques, equipment requirements,
and hazards of deep air diving to a maximum
of 55m utilizing Nitrox mixtures or oxygen
for staged decompression.
The course is scheduled over four days.
Prior to beginning the course you will
be given the 'TDI Extended Range' workbook.
As with all our training we ask you to
complete the knowledge reviews before
you arrive for your academic presentation.
There is also a written exam and a kit
orientation.
Pre-requisites
TDI Advanced Nitrox & Decompression
Procedures Certification (or equivalent)
Minimum age: 18
Show proof of 100 logged open water dives,
30 deeper than 30 metres
If this course is taught in conjunction
with the TDI Decompression Procedures
Course, then the minimum age is 18
Course Duration
Independent Home Study followed by:
Day 1: 6 hours Theory
Day 2: 2 Open Water Dives to 30 meters
+
Day 3: 2 Open Water Dives to 40 meters
+
Day 4: 2 Open Water Dives to 40 meters
