Oxygen Provider Course
If the unexpected happened - Would you know how to provide oxygen to your buddy? It might just their life. DAN´s Oxygen First Aid for Scuba Diving Injuries Provider Course is the course for you if you want to be able to help fellow divers out in this position (not that it happens often).
DAN and all major diving instructional agencies recommend that all divers be qualified to provide 100% oxygen in the field to those injured in a dive accident.
DAN´s Oxygen Provider Course (£69) was designed to fill the void in oxygen first aid training available for the general diving public.
This 4 hour course (1 hour theory and 3 hours skills practice) will teach you to:
- Recognise signs and symptoms of a dive emergency requiring oxygen first aid
- State the benefits of providing oxygen to an injured diver
- State potential hazards of working with oxygen
- Assemble and deploy an Oxygen Unit with skill and confidence
- Operation of an Oxygen Unit including use of 3 oxygen delivery devices
