About Capernwray
Capernwray is situated about 10 miles below the Lake District and is, in our opinion, one of the best inland dive sites the UK has to offer. Once under the water there is a lot to discover. It has a maximum depth of around 22m but most of the wrecks lay between 6m to 15m which makes it ideal for the newly certified diver. The wrecks include 6 boats, 2 helicopters and a Cessna plane. There are also 2 huge cartoon horses, which make an ideal photo opportunity and a gnome garden. You can even take some fish food down with you and feed the numerous trout.

Once out of the water, you will find first class shower facilities and a bar/restaurant serving a wide range of homemade food………..Oh, and dont forget to leave some scraps for Murphy, the resident Dalmatian!!!!!

This trip is ideal for divers of all levels but especially suitable for those wishing to gain experience in non-tidal safe surroundings.

Dive Trip Details
An early start is required for this trip. Leaving Stansted at 5am on Tuesday 24th aiming to arrive at Capernwray around 9:30ish where we will spend the day diving.

After a days diving we then spend a night at a local hotel, chilling out with a nice meal and sampling the local brew. After breakfast the following day, its back to Capernwray for 3 more dives. We will be running the PADI Underwater Navigation Specialty on the second day. If you are interested in this then the course will be priced at a discounted cost of £109. Contact the shop to book.
