About Tango of Weymouth

Tango is a 40' 750 hp vessel and has  been fitted out by owner/skipper Phil Corben who has worked the waters around Weymouth and Portland all his working life, over 25 years. Tango has been especially designed with divers in mind for all their needs and comforts. We cater for both club charters and dives for individuals.

Q    How many divers can Tango carry?
A    Tango is licenced to carry a maximum of 12 passengers

Q    How much is it to charter Tango?
A    Weekend charters/bank holidays are £490 per day.  Mid week £450. Individuals £43 per person - minimum of 6 divers.

Q    How many dives do we do per day?
A    We do the main dive followed by a shallower dive or drift.

Q    How do we get our bottles filled?
A    The Old Harbour Dive Centre on the quayside.

Q    Where can we park?
A    We have tickets on board for the Cosens Quay car park - £6 for 18 hours.

Q    Is there accommodation available nearby?
A    There are B&B places and several caravan sites.  Call the Tourist Information  Tel. 01305 785747 or 'bunk aboard' for £8 per night - bring sleeping bag and pillow.

Q    Does Tango carry oxygen?
A    Yes

Q    Where is the boat moored?
A    Alongside the quay wall, by The George pub - seaward side of the town bridge.
