Underwater Film Studio Dive Details

2DiVE4 have organised an evening at the only underwater film studio in the UK. We have hired the 'pool' for a full hour so that our divers can use it for skills practice, SMB deployment, rescue lifts or just for a splash. You are more than welcome to come along and try out a new bit of kit or just have a practice with your camera equipment. The pool is heated to around 30 degrees so you will only need a shorty wetsuit. The pool is 12m x 9m and has a depth of 6m. Being a film studio the walls of the pool are painted black so it will be reasonably dark so you may want to bring your dive lights to play about with.

We have the pool from 8pm - 9pm so to maximise on your 'in water' time then please arrive by 7.30pm for an orientation and to allow time to set up your kit and get changed. There is plenty of free parking available and there is also a bar there if anyone fancies a beer afterwards. Being located close the the Festival Park in Basildon, there are a number of eating places if anyone fancied a nibble after their dive.
