19th & 20th May (accommodation 18th & 19th)
2days/2 nights (4 boat dives)
£169 - per person (based on 2 people sharing)
Plymouth has some of the best wreck diving around the UK and lends itself to a vast array of shipwrecks at varying depths. The two wrecks we'll be diving on are the James Eagan Layne and the HMS Scylla. Two very contrastinting wrecks that are ideal wrecks for the novice wreck diver
We will be leaving Stansted at around Noon to reach Plymouth late afternoon in time for an early dinner and a beverage. The plan is to go direct to the B&B to meet our hosts Steve & Sue who will look after us for the next two days. Steve is the Skipper and his wife Sue will be looking after our accommodation needs.
The next morning we'll make the 5 minute journey from the B&B to the marina where we will load our dive kit onto our boat. Once we're fully loaded up Steve will then take us round the headland to where the Scylla and James Eagan Layne lay for our two dives of the day. A light lunch will be served between dives. All our dive kit can stay on the secure boat over night but we will need to take our cylinders to the local dive centre for filling for the next days diving.
The next morning it’s back to the dive centre to pick up our cylinders then onto the marina to load the boat up for another 2 exciting wreck dives.
After another days diving we head back to our accommodation where they have rinsing facilities to wash our kit before heading back home that evening.
N.B. You will need 2 cylinders for this trip as the boat doesn’t return to shore for air fills between dives.
