PADI Dry Suit Course – £199
The PADI Dry Suit Course course is designed to be an introduction to dry suit diving and to help the student diver develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary for dry suit diving. Diving with a dry suit is a must in the uk during the winter months and you’ll dive in it all year round too.
PADI Dry Suit Course Overview
- the planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of dry suit diving
- proper procedures for buoyancy control
- ascent and descent technique training
- routine, user-level, preventative maintenance
The goals of PADI Dry Suit Course training are:
- to develop the student’s knowledge of dry suits – when to use dry suits, types of dry suits available, dry suit accessories, their maintenance, and how to make minor repairs
- to develop the student’s ability to perform the skills needed, or that may be needed, when diving in a dry suit
- to enable the student diver to plan, organise and conduct dives using a dry suit
PADI Dry Suit Course Duration
- Independent study and completion of knowledge reviews
- 2 open water dives
Pre-requisites
- Your must be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Junior Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation.
- Be 12 years of age or older
- Complete a medical statement attached to our booking form
