PADI Night Diver Course – £199
The PADI Night Diver Course is designed to be an introduction to night diving and to help the student diver develop the skills, knowledge and techniques necessary to safely participate in night-diving activities. This course can be conducted at a local dive site in the UK, or on one of our scuba diving holidays abroad.
PADI Night Diver Course Overview
- the planning, organisation, procedures, techniques, problems and hazards of night diving
- proper procedures for bouyancy control, navigation and communication
- use of dive lights and buddy-system techniques
- disorientation and emergency procedures
- orientation to nocturnal aquatic life
The goals of PADI Night Diver Course training are:
- to develop the student’s practical knowledge of night diving
- to enable the student to organise and safely conduct night dives
PADI Night Diver Course Duration
- Independent study and completion of knowledge reviews
- 3 open water dives
PADI Night Diver Course pre-requisites. You must:
- Be certified as a PADI Open Water Diver, PADI Junior Open Water Diver or have a qualifying certification from another training organisation. (The Night Dive conducted during the PADI Adventures in Diving program may be counted toward this speciality at the discretion of the instructor.)
- Be 12 years of age or older
- Complete a medical statement attached to our booking form
