Dive Itinerary

ITINERARY HIGHLIGHTS

  • Centre of the Coral Triangle, Raja Ampat is the most biodiverse place on earth.
  • Swim the lagoons of Misool and enjoy beach BBQ.
  • Chance to see whale sharks, manta and other pelagic action combined with colourful pristine reefs.
  • Copious fish life, immense colours, and mysterious critters.
  • Explore secluded beaches, stunning lagoons, and a famous waterfall.
  • The Sorong to Kaimana cruise is special because it takes in multiple magnificent regions in the one cruise with the opportunity for pelagic action, breathtaking corals and hopefully whale sharks too.

Triton Bay is a significant part of the Kaimana Marine Protected Area, covering an area of 6,000sq km. Some highlights are the frequent presence of whale sharks often seen in the area and around the local fishermen’s bagans, impressive schools of barracudas and jacks, the rare flasher wrasse at Flasher Beach or Leopard Anemone Shrimp at Namatote Wall and one of the most renowned of these endemic species is the Triton Bay walking shark hiding under a table coral. The heart of Triton Bay lies in the strait between Aiduma and West Papua, two famous specific dive sites in this region are Little Komodo and Larry’s Heaven (also known as The Aquarium).

On this cruise, you will visit the south of Raja Ampat as well as the wonder that is Misool, you’ll take in the beautiful archipelago of Pisang before re-joining the coastline of Papua ending in Kaimana.

There is the potential for over 30 dives on this incredible journey and this 12-night cruise will take in Misool, plus Aiduma and Momon regions of Papua:

  • Misool: incredible dives, whale sharks, jungle exploration and beach barbecues
  • Pisang: pristine coral reefs, swirling schools of fish, graceful mantas, and curious turtles
  • Aiduma: rich in marine life, vibrant coral formations, and impressive underwater landscapes
  • Momon: potential for unusual marine life, Kiti Kiti waterfall, paddleboarding and kayaking

To secure your place on the boat we would require an initial deposit of £500pp. An interim payment of £800pp would be due 1 year before departure, and a further interim of £1600 due by the 12th September 2024 – making nice and easy instalments too!. Flights will be available around June 2024, and we may have to pay in full for the domestic flights at this time. This would be an additional payment. Your balance would be due in January 2025.
